Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account we store your email address and authentication details through our provider, Supabase. When you run an optimization we store the resume text and job description you submit, along with the generated result, so you can view it later in your dashboard.

Anything you type into a resume or cover letter is stored with it: your name, contact details, work history, and an optional profile photo. In our mobile apps we also record which features you use (for example that a PDF was exported) together with a random per-install identifier. That identifier is not the advertising ID, and feature events never contain the contents of your documents.

How we use it

Your resume and job description are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API solely to generate your optimization. We do not sell your data or use it to train models. Payment is processed by Stripe on the web and by Apple in our iOS app; we never see or store your card details.

Usage events are used only to understand which features people actually use, so we know what to improve. We do not use them for advertising, we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your data with data brokers.

Data retention & deletion

Your optimizations remain in your account until you delete them or delete your account. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → Delete account) or on the web from your settings page. Deleting your account permanently removes your resumes, cover letters and saved jobs along with it. You can also email us and we will do it for you.

An App Store subscription is billed by Apple and is not cancelled by deleting your account — cancel it separately in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.

Third parties

We rely on Supabase (authentication and database), Anthropic (AI processing), Stripe (payments on the web), Apple (payments and subscriptions in the iOS app), RevenueCat (which records the state of an App Store subscription so we know whether your account is active), and Google Firebase Analytics (anonymous feature-usage counts in the mobile app, with advertising features switched off). Each processes your data under their own privacy terms.
